Advocacy Program for the Persecuted Church

Open Doors has launched a new advocacy program
for those supporting the Persecuted Church...

Quote from their Advocacy Mission Statement...

"We are inviting fellow Christians to join in the effort to seek justice for those who are falsely discriminated against, imprisoned, fined, and tortured for following Christ. Your involvement will not only express the love of Christ, but it will also strengthen the church to continue evangelism in areas of severe spiritual opposition.."

* Sign their first E-petition for persecuted Christians in Eritrea...

SANTA ANA, CA (Nov. 7, 2005) –

"The persecution of evangelical Christians in the eastern African country of Eritrea continues unabated. Currently 26 full-time pastors and 1,752 Eritrean Christians are known to be held in prisons, military confinement camps and shipping containers for meeting secretly for prayer and worship outside government-approved churches, according to Compass Direct.

Those wanting to become advocates and take their support of the Persecuted Church to an even deeper level can join their ongoing advocacy program..."
