Eldery, But Still Necessary

God honors those who have entered into old age and maturity and has new expectations for them and new roles for them to fill. There is so much that needs to be done for His Kingdom and so few people really willing to step forward, and one can do that at any age. There is a hope and calling for every single life. This could become one of the greatest opportunities of someones life to move out and find a new level in their mission and calling.

We can look at life two ways, a life of burdens and hopelessness or a life that offers amazing opportunities in the most unlikely places. For those feeling depressed and without inspiration, music can be great spiritual therapy to lift them out of the pits of despair and hopelessness. Reading the Psalms can renew hope and provide inspiration.

The first thing would be to turn the focus from self to something else, ie. others. Even if a person doesnt have direct access to a lot of people doesn't mean they can't connect through other means. Where they plant their spiritual seed in missions, etc. they plant a part of themselves. Prayer can be a spiritual investment just like money, and though it seems to be a simple thing in some eyes it can have enormous value and impact on a ministry or the body of Christ...

A prayer warrior has great value in God's kingdom although from outward appearance they may not seem to be doing "all that much" from the perspective of administrative activity connected to a church. We are to use whatever resources we have at our disposal to do that.

We should hold on to the life which God has blessed us with, press on towared the eternal goal and find our place in this world that God has preordained for each of us. He has given us life, and life abundantly... once we seek out find out whatever that place is we can it.
